PATRICK O'GRADY
Our Academy Programme is led by Patrick O’Grady, a highly experienced coach with over a decade of expertise in running elite-level rugby academies with both London Irish and England Rugby. Throughout his career, Patrick has played a pivotal role in the development of a significant number of players who have progressed to represent their countries at international age groups, play in the Premiership, and achieve Senior International rugby status.
The depth of experience that Patrick and his staff bring to the programme is invaluable. Drawing on years of coaching and mentoring athletes aged 13-18, along with insights gained from working with numerous talented players, Patrick has shaped the development of the Play Maker Academy. This wealth of knowledge and experience ensures that our Academy is uniquely positioned to nurture and guide young players towards reaching their full potential.
- Rugby coaching veteran: 15+ years coaching and managing youth programs. Knows how to develop players and get them where they need to go.
- Developed top rugby talent: Coached numerous players who went on to play professionally and internationally. A knack for spotting and developing potential.
